I had always wondered why things had to be this way. The breeze caught a strand of dark hair and blew it towards the fountain. I twisted slightly, looking over at the knowing brown eyes watching my face, As if waiting for it to crumble.
“I am ok...” I whispered in a not believable tone. She sighed and leaned back against the tree. A smile creped across my face, I knew she would know better than to believe my bull. The breeze blew again and tickled my open skin. A small yawn escaped and I stood. “Cant get tired now, Eh?” She nodded, her eyes still closed. Alex loped over from the thick line of trees. “Hey, Nee-san!” My head whirled around in the direction of the cheery voice. “Hey Alex!” I raised my arm to greet my older brother. His wings flexed in the bright sun shine. Uriel appeared behind him. A permitted scowl painted across his almost perfect face.  Samuel and Samiel stepped out of a dark portal and smirked in allusion. “Hello, Lil Brookey.” I smiled at the pet name my father and…I’m not sure what Samiel is, call me. The earth shakes and Devan appeared, a loud rave song playing from his ears. He stood next to Samuel and smiled. I tilted my head, wondering when I’ve ever seen any of these people angry...Really angry with me. A bird sang and a small Elf appeared from only god knows where. A small red tint appeared on my face as I waved at him, “Ello Xini!” He merely nodded. I smiled and walked to the edge of the cliff. “Time to fly...” She spread her wings and dived off the cliff, the others following. Alex and Uri flying beside each other, light and dark in a perfect mixture. Samiel flying alone, one bone wing and one black. Samuel’s black wings glitter as he dive bombs an unsuspecting Coon. I giggle at them both. Xini sat on the back of an eagle, plucking at some string instrument. I shifted and flew upside down, watching for her. She dived off the edge, her Blue black wings shining brightly. I smiled and raced off, my image reflecting into the large lake. My fingers spread, skimming the water, freezing it. “Aye! No!” I turned to look at who said it, to late... A giant snake creature jumped from the water. Snapping at Alex and Uri. I screamed, but it was cut off by a slimy hand choking me. My breath escaped. “No……not. The dark….” Yells and grunts of pain erupted around me. A flash and a small murmuring was against my ear...”Not dead yet…”

To be continued.
A little somthing I wrote while bored.
